Anantnag, Aug 11: A brief exchange of fire was reported in Padder Batam Bridge area of Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district, officials said on Sunday Morning.
After the exchange of fire, the militant fled from the spot by taking advantage of the dark and dense forest, he added.
Meanwhile, security forces intensified their search operations in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.
