An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that youth had drowned into the Pohru nallah Sopore on Thursday.
He said that Umar Hameed son of Ab Hameed Dar resident of Naseer Abad Sopore drowned in Nallah while taking a bath.
He said that rescue operation was started soon after the incident and his body has been recovered today by local boatmen.
He said that police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.(KS)
