SRINAGAR: Three residential houses were damaged in a massive fire incident in the Mirhama area of Kulgam district in Jmmu and Kashmir on Thursday.
Reports said that on Thursday afternoon, flames emerged from the house of a local resident which later spread to the nearby houses.
“Following the incident, fire tenders promptly rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames with the assistance of locals. However, three houses were damaged during the fire,” the reports added
The houses belonged to Mohammed Ibrahim Sheikh, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh Mohammed Ashraf Sofi and Abdul Raheem Sheikh.
Meanwhile, an official stated that the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, while the police have taken cognizance of the incident.
