The State Council of Education Research & Training has not yet officially released the final schedule for the Class 10th exams for the session 2023-24. However, a forged date sheet with false dates is being shared widely on WhatsApp and Facebook.
According to the fake circulating date sheet, the Class 8th exams will begin from February 27, 2024 which is incorrect. The actual exams are expected to start in March 2024 as per past trends.
The SCERT has warned students and parents to only refer to the official website scertjk.online for authentic news and updates on the exam schedule. Students are advised to not trust or share any unofficial date sheet from unreliable sources.
It is speculated that some miscreants are deliberately spreading the fake date sheet to cause confusion. The board has said that legal action may be taken against those circulating the forged document.
Parents and students are requested to only believe the official date sheet that will be released by SCERT on its website in due course of time. The SCERT has appealed everyone to refrain from spreading misinformation about the exams on social media platforms.
