J&K Government Revalidates Appointment Orders Issued in Favour of Applicants Under J&K Compassionate Appointment Rules


Srinagar, Jan 28 (GNS): Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday ordered for revalidation of appointment orders issued in favour of applicants in forty-eight administrative departments under J&K Compassionate Appointment Rules, 1994 (SR0-43/1994).

“Sanction is hereby accorded to the re-validation of the Appointment Orders issued by the Administrative Departments/Competent Appointing Authorities, in favour of the eligible applicants under J&K Compassionate Appointment Rules, 1994 (SRO-43/1994), for which the approval of the Competent Authority has been conveyed to the respective (forty-eight) Administrative Departments vide communication(s), but have not been handed-over to such applicants within the stipulated time period”, reads an order, a copy of which lies GNS.

“The joining period of 21 days, in all such cases shall be reckoned with effect from 25.01.2024.”

“Further, in respect of such applicants, in whose favour the appointment orders have been issued by the General Administration Department vide Government Order No. 46-JK-(GAD) of 2024 Dated 08.01.2024 to Government Order No. 116-JK-(GAD) of 2024 Dated 08.01.2024, the joining period of 21 days shall also be reckoned with effect from 25.01.2024”, the order reads.
