Baramulla Police received information regarding presence of Wild Cannabis at Bijhama.
Accordingly a police party consisting of personnel from Police Station Bijhama led by SHO PS Bijhama Inspr Irfan Ahmad alongwith Revenue department under the overall supervision of Sh. Shokat Ali-JKPS, SDPO Uri reached the spots and destroyed the Wild Cannabis on fields measuring approx about 1 Kanal of land.
Similarly, Baramulla Police received information regarding presence of Wild Cannabis at Ghat Palhallan.
Accordingly a police party consisting of personnel from Police Post Palhallan led by *IC PP Palhallan PSI Aeraf Niyaz alongwith local volunteers of Ghat Palhallan under the overall supervision of Sh. Mohd Nawaz-JKPS, SDPO Pattan reached the spots and destroyed the Wild Cannabis on fields measuring approx about 1.5 Kanal of land by spraying herbicides.
General people of Bijhama & Ghat Palhallan hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and has joined the destruction of Wild Cannabis at the locations.
