Jammu, 04 May 2023,(KAT) : Continuing their intensive drive against smuggling in Jammu, the Lakhanpur police seized 96 expensive Liquor bottles from a luxury sleeper bus coming from Punjab to Jammu on Lakhanpur border and arrested a smuggler on Thursday.
Reports reaching—(Kashmir Abb Tak) that the Lakhanpur police after getting inputs about the alcohol smuggling formed a team headed by SHO Lakhanpur Vijay Kotwal and laid a naka at Lakhanpur border in Kathua.
During the search, the police intercepted a Sleeper Bus (UP40T6629) which entered from Punjab to Lakhanpur border and during checking recovered 96 bottles of expensive alcohol from it and arrested a person—(KAT)
