Srinagar, 13 March 2023,(KAT) : The petitioner’s lawyer stated that the exams for the Junior Engineer and Sub-Inspector posts were conducted as allowed by the High Court’s interim order of December 9, 2022. The lawyer also mentioned that the Writ Appeal will be heard soon.
Given these circumstances, we are not willing to review the Special Leave Petition’s merits at this point. We recommend that the Division Bench of the High Court consider the appeal as soon as possible, ideally within three months of receiving a copy of this order.
Until the High Court issues instructions, the examination results should not be released. It is important to note that we have not expressed an opinion on the case’s merits, and we request that the High Court make its decision based on the facts and the law—(KAT)
