WhatsApp Upcoming Features 2023: What are the new features of WhatsApp?

WhatsApp is constantly looking for new ways to improve the chatting experience for users, whether it's through improved visuals, improved privacy settings, or even something as straightforward as new emojis.

By the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023, users can expect new features by the Meta-owned app for both personal and business. Listed below are a few expected features that will be of interest to you:

Blocking of screenshots: While this feature is still in beta testing, it will stop users from capturing screenshots of the ‘View Once’ pictures and videos. Soon, the feature ought to be available to all stable users. The upcoming feature allows users to put limitations on screen recording and capturing for media that is shared with friends and other contacts. By doing this, you can safeguard your privacy and restrict others from taking screenshots of your media.

Clickable links on WhatsApp status: A small but useful change will soon enable hyperlinking URLs in the caption in status updates for WhatsApp Status. As a result, WhatsApp users will be able to share links to their own websites, pages, and other interesting websites they come across online. Viewers will be able to access these websites by simply clicking on the links, and the websites will open in a new tab or window.

WhatsApp Premium for businesses: For users of WhatsApp Business, WhatsApp is reportedly creating WhatsApp Premium, a subscription service. As long as users continue to pay for the service, WhatsApp apparently offers corporate users additional benefits similar to those offered by premium services like Telegram. These functionalities include the ability to create unique business links and the ability to attach more than four devices to a single account. After going live, the service might even get more upgrades.

New tool tab on WhatsApp Business: On the app's home screen, a new tab will be available for WhatsApp Business users. Business customers will have a single portal where they can immediately access Business Tools without having to go through the in-app settings, the Business Tool tab, which replaces the camera item on the far left. These functions include catalog settings, upkeep of the company profile, and Facebook and Instagram ad connectivity.

WhatsApp sidebar and status replies coming to WhatsApp Web: All WhatsApp desktop users should expect future updates that include a new sidebar and status replies. Users of WhatsApp for desktop will be able to see the status of their contacts and reply to them exactly like they would on a phone thanks to the Status responses feature. In the interim, the status updates tab, settings, and profile may all be easily accessed via the sidebar.

Personalized 3D WhatsApp avatars:

Users can both view and make their own 3D avatars on WhatApp. Instead of showing their profile photo in chats, video calls, and stories, users can use these avatars.

Know the participants of WhatsApp group that have exited: Every new group member will have access to a list of previous participants or group members. This will enable you to determine the group's actions and whether anything is incorrect. Consider being included to a group by invitation or addition, where you will be the only new member. But with this function, you'll be able to see who has all departed the group in the 60 days since the day you joined.

Retrieve deleted messages on WhatsApp: The WhatsApp beta users already have access to this feature, and it is anticipated that it will soon be available to all other users as well.

More control on conversation in groups for admin: Admins will soon be able to delete or erase any post or comment made by any group member on WhatsApp. The admin or admins can now control the WhatsApp group's chats in the future.
