Shopian, 22 January 2022,(KAT) : Encounter Started between militants and security forces in Kilbal village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday, officials said.
Reports Reaching (Kashmir Abb Tak) that a joint team of Police, 34RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
He said that as the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, militants fired upon them which was retaliated triggering an encounter.
A senior police officer also confirmed that exchange of fire between forces and militants is going on.
As per the sources, one to two militants are believed to be trapped in the village—(KAT)
