Official Sources Told News Agency—(Kashmir Abb Tak) that telecom operators in the district have been asked to suspend the services as a “precautionary measure”.
Earlier militants and government s exchanged gunfire in Chowgam area of Shopian district on the early morning of Saturday.
The gunfight began after a joint team of army’s 34RR, CRPF and SOG cordoned off Chowgam in wee hours.
As the joint team of intensified searches towards the suspected house, the hiding militants inside the house fired upon government forces triggering an encounter—KAT)
