Tral, 25 December 2021,(KAT) Encounter has started between militants and Security forces in Hurdimir area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Saturday.
Reports Reaching News Agency—(Kashmir Abb Tak) that a joint team of Police and Army’s 44RR launched a cordon and search operation in Hurdimir.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed to exchange of firing between militants and security forces.
As per the sources two to three militants are believed to be trapped—(KAT)
